Pick a Nickname

Your nickname is the unique identifier you'll use when you vote. Here's how it works:

1. Select a nickname you'll easily remember. Enter it in the box and click the "check availability" button.
2. If someone has already chosen the nickname you'd like you'll need to select another. Please enter a different nickname and click the "check availability" button until you find one that's available.
3. Remember your nickname. Write it down in a safe place.
4. When you return, enter your nickname in the box and cast your daily vote.

What if I forget my nickname?

Because our voting system doesn't ask for your email address, we won't be able to email your nickname to you if you forget it. You'll need to select a new nickname and continue voting through the rest of the competition using your new name. Don't worry, votes cast using your previous nickname still count!

What's this code I'm entering?

It's so we can tell you're a real person and not a robot casting that vote.

How does it work?
